Employee Onboarding
SES is a Luxembourg-based satellite operator providing video and data connectivity worldwide. After merging with US-based Intelsat, SES embarked on a full rebrand, and faced a question familiar to many global organizations: how do you make thousands of newly joined employees across 53 offices feel part of the same story?
Merchandise procurement was fragmented, with departments buying independently and no consistent standard for quality or brand alignment. SES needed one trusted, scalable system. After a competitive tender that started in November 2024, SES chose Monday Merch to build and run their global Style Store.
What we did
From day one we worked as a true partner. We joined product workshops alongside SES and their US-based creative agency, shaping a collection that felt true to the new identity: everyday apparel, bomber jackets with interchangeable patches, and practical tech items like magnetic charging cables. One item became iconic internally: the purple hoodie, in the color SES has made its own. We built the entire store experience end to end, and made global logistics seamless with worldwide shipping for individual orders, local production in India, Brazil and the US for bulk orders, and ongoing support. We also run group order stores and internal B2C orders, giving SES a single point of contact for all merchandise.
Louise Scott
Director of Corporate Marketing
“For the very first time, we have a team that knows exactly what they're doing on a global level. They live and breathe this. They're the experts, but they work with us as partners.”
The result
The response across all 53 offices has been overwhelmingly positive. Louise Scott, Director of Corporate Marketing, describes very big smiles from ear to ear, with employees so keen to wear the brand you can hardly get them out of it. For SES leadership, the Style Store has become more than a merchandise platform: it is a tool for reinforcing the post-merger rebrand and building shared identity across a newly unified global team. Following the strong reception, phase 2 is planned for 2026.
