How Multiplier turned merch into one global system

Multiplier hires, pays and manages talent in more than 150 countries, so its brand has to show up everywhere its people are. Since December 2025, Monday Merch has run its merch as a single system across four regions, covering employee gifting, field events and team kits.

Merch Platform

Multiplier is a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay and manage people almost anywhere without setting up a local entity.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in New York, it covers Employer of Record, Contractor of Record, global payroll, immigration and localised benefits. It's used primarily by HR teams building and supporting distributed workforces at scale.

The Challenge

Multiplier does not have one home office, and it does not have one merch owner either. Social, communications and growth marketing all need it, alongside regional HR teams running their own employee moments.

That makes one-off ordering expensive and slow. Once the internal collection launched, requests came in faster than stock could support, from teams wanting items for themselves, for partners and for clients.

The products had to clear a high bar too. The team did not want the usual conference giveaway. They wanted items good enough to survive the flight home and stay in use.

What we did

We run Multiplier's merch as one operational system, with production, warehousing and fulfilment across the EU, US, India and China. That footprint gives Multiplier one global product range that can reach wherever their people are, without stitching together country-by-country suppliers.

In practice, that covers everything from mid-year HR gifting worldwide, to event merch across the EU, US, UK, Australia and China, and team kits produced locally for distributed teams.

The Result

The instinct pays off. The strongest performers aren't the classic conference giveaways. They're premium, designed pieces that fit naturally into someone's day: laptop camera covers, cotton tees, wireless earbuds, and welcome kits new hires actually use.

The pattern shows up at events too. At a London show, colourful socks flew off the stand. A cleaning spray set added to another run on a hunch quickly became one of the fastest reorders since.

The team also tiers what they give away. Totes go to anyone who wants one, treated as walking brand awareness. Premium items are reserved for prospects who scan a badge.

What started as one-off requests scattered across teams now runs as a single system across four regions, ready for the next region to plug into.
