Design-led and detail-obsessed, NOWN partnered with Monday Merch to bring their brand identity to life through a bespoke run of custom chore jackets for their Amsterdam-based team.

NOWN is an architectural product manufacturer in Amsterdam with one guiding principle: elevated design that is simple to install. Their multidisciplinary team of architects, designers and engineers creates products for spaces used by brands like Microsoft, Nike and On Running. For a team this focused on discipline and detail, workwear had to feel like a natural extension of their world. NOWN came to us with a clear vision: a custom chore jacket that could represent the brand inside the studio and out in the world.
What we did
We started with samples: two unbranded AS Colour chore jackets, so the team could validate fit and feel before committing to a full run. Then the design work began. Artwork was supplied as a final approved file, colors were specified down to the hex code, and placement and scale were reviewed via mockups and renders. Only after every detail was signed off did the order move into production. Exactly the process you would expect from a precision manufacturer, and one we were happy to match.

The result
The result: 36 custom black AS Colour chore jackets, printed with NOWN's "Proceed With Comments" branding, complete with GPS coordinates, contact details and the NOWN logo. The kind of jacket that doubles as a statement. As founder Jason Gillette puts it, everything that looks beautiful and effortless is the product of a lot of work and discipline. This project was exactly that, on both sides.
