The European Space Agency (ESA) is Europe's gateway to space: an intergovernmental organization of 22 member states coordinating scientific missions, Earth observation, satellite navigation and space exploration.

When ESA set out to evolve its swag offering, it had two goals: build a seamless, scalable experience for space enthusiasts across Europe and beyond, and streamline internal distribution to support ESA activities and partners. They needed a partner capable of delivering both.

What we did

We work with ESA across every phase of the project: catalog creation, warehousing and inventory setup, EU-wide fulfillment and international shipping. Together we launched two new stores: a B2C Brand Store for space enthusiasts across the member states, and a B2B wholesale portal for museums, science centers and ESA retail partners.

Beyond e-commerce, we handle production and distribution for ESA's six physical stores in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain, ensuring consistent quality and timely replenishment. It is a multi-year partnership built to support ESA's global reach and long-term brand strategy.

Swag Officer

“With Monday Merch, we’re transforming how we deliver swag to thousands of space enthusiasts and support ESA activities across the globe.”

The result

Through ongoing monitoring of the online shop's sales and operational performance, we help ESA shape what comes next, from new capsule collections to mission-specific drops. Currently in the pipeline: swag for the Ignis and Ariane missions and a globally inclusive "Space for All" collection.

With 6,368 employees, partners and space enthusiasts served, we have built more than a swag store together: a flexible, data-led ecosystem that supports ESA's mission to make space exploration accessible and exciting for all.
