A customer gift is a harder brief than an employee gift, and for a reason that has nothing to do with taste. You are not buying for people you know. You are buying for a list of names, some of whom you have met once, spread across companies, countries and dietary preferences you have no record of. The gift has to work without any of the context you would normally rely on.
That constraint shapes everything below. The 30 gifts here are sorted by what you are actually solving: a giveaway for a few hundred customers, a considered gift for an account manager, or something for the handful of relationships your year depended on. Every price is per piece at the minimum order quantity, with the minimum order and the production time alongside it, so you can see what each one really costs to buy rather than what it costs per head at a volume you will never order.

What separates a customer gift from an employee gift
Three differences change what works.
Branding has to be quieter. An employee wearing your logo is a colleague. A customer wearing your logo is doing you a favor. The gifts that work outside your own company are the ones where your brand appears on the box, the card or the packaging rather than across the product itself. Several items below cannot be branded at all, which for a customer gift is a feature rather than a limitation.
Nobody is standing next to them when it arrives. An employee gift gets handed over, explained, and received in context. A customer gift turns up at a reception desk with a card. Whatever the gift says about you, it says on its own.
The addresses are all different. This is the real cost difference and the one most budgets miss. Twenty employee gifts go to one office. Twenty customer gifts go to twenty addresses, several of them abroad. There is a section on that below, because it changes which gifts are viable long before taste does.
Christmas giveaways for customers
A giveaway is a different purchase from a gift. You are buying several hundred of something that costs very little per piece, usually for an event, a mailer or a shop counter, and the per-piece price matters far more than the per-order total. The trade is minimum quantity: the cheapest items here have minimums in the hundreds or thousands, so the smallest order you can place runs to four figures even at a euro or two a piece. Check the minimum spend column before the per-piece price.
Gift | Per piece | Min. qty | Minimum spend | Production |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Candy | €1.08 | 1000 | €1,080.00 | 20 days |
Salty Pretzels | €1.72 | 1000 | €1,720.00 | 11 days |
Fudge | €1.32 | 500 | €660.00 | 23 days |
Cookies | €1.81 | 600 | €1,086.00 | 20 days |
Small Bar Tony's Chocolonely | €2.16 | 15 | €32.40 | 4 days |
Fiesta Nut Mix | €1.79 | 25 | €44.75 | 6 days |
Toblerone Chocolate | €3.27 | 15 | €49.05 | 6 days |
Christmas Card | €5.71 | 10 | €57.10 | 5 days |
Candy €1.08 at 1000, from €1,080.00

The lowest per-piece price in the Christmas range at €1.08, and the clearest illustration of how giveaway pricing works. The minimum is 1,000 units, so the smallest order is €1,080. If you are handing something to every visitor at a trade stand or dropping one into every outgoing parcel through December, that arithmetic works. If you have 80 customers, it does not.

Salty Pretzels €1.72 at 1000, from €1,720.00

The savory counterpart at €1.72 a piece, minimum 1,000. Worth pairing with a sweet item rather than choosing between them, because a bowl of only chocolate loses the share of any crowd who do not want it. Eleven business days of production is the fastest of the high-minimum food items by a wide margin.
View product: Salty Pretzels
Fudge €1.32 at 500, from €660.00

The most accessible of the bulk sweets, with a minimum of 500 rather than 1,000, which brings the smallest order down to €660. That halved minimum is the reason to pick it over the cheaper options if your list is in the hundreds rather than the thousands. Twenty-three business days of production, so this is an October decision, not a December one.
View product: Fudge
Cookies €1.81 at 600, from €1,086.00

€1.81 a piece at a minimum of 600. Biscuits travel better than chocolate through a warm warehouse or a long delivery route, which matters when a giveaway sits in a box for weeks before it reaches anyone.
View product: Cookies
Small Bar Tony's Chocolonely €2.16 at 15, from €32.40

The exception that makes this section usable at any scale. €2.16 a piece whether you order 15 or 500, with a minimum spend of €32.40 and four business days of production, the fastest item in the entire range. A brand with a genuine ethical position rather than a marketing one, which lands differently with a customer than generic confectionery. The constraint from the product page: the bar itself is not customizable, so your branding goes on the sleeve or card around it.
View product: Small Bar Tony's Chocolonely
Fiesta Nut Mix €1.79 at 25, from €44.75

€1.79 a piece flat, whether you buy 25 or 500, which makes it the cheapest per-head item anyone can realistically order. The savory option in a category that is otherwise entirely sweet. Six business days.
View product: Fiesta Nut Mix
Toblerone Chocolate €3.27 at 15, from €49.05

Flat at €3.27 across every quantity tier, minimum 15. Recognition is what you are buying: a recipient prices a Toblerone against what they would pay in a shop, not against what it cost you, which is a useful property in a gift going to someone who does not know you well.
View product: Toblerone Chocolate
Christmas Card €5.71 at 10, from €57.10

The lowest minimum order in the entire range at 10 pieces, and the item most often skipped. For a customer list, the card is frequently the whole gift: it arrives, it is read, it is the only thing in the envelope with your name written rather than printed. €5.71 at 10 units, falling steeply with volume, five business days.
View product: Christmas Card
Customer gifts under €10 a piece
The working band for most customer lists. Everything here can be ordered at a minimum of 15 or 25 units, which means you can buy for a real customer list rather than a hypothetical one, and the smallest order in this section is €51. These are the gifts that read as considered without reading as expensive, which for a customer relationship is usually the right register.
Gift | Per piece | Min. qty | Minimum spend | Production |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Barebells Bar | €3.40 | 15 | €51.00 | 6 days |
Clipper Tea | €3.62 | 25 | €90.50 | 6 days |
Ponte Villoni Prosecco | €4.59 | 25 | €114.75 | 6 days |
Large Bar Tony's Chocolonely | €5.78 | 15 | €86.70 | 4 days |
Celebrations Mix Box | €6.92 | 15 | €103.80 | 6 days |
Tissue Paper Sticker | €6.98 | 15 | €104.70 | 5 days |
Christmas Tree Hanger | €7.48 | 15 | €112.20 | 8 days |
Mini Mikado Game | €8.24 | 15 | €123.60 | 8 days |
Barebells Bar €3.40 at 15, from €51.00

The option when chocolate would read as off-brief, which is more often than people assume with customer lists in health, sport or professional services. Several flavors are available, so a mixed box varies without adding cost or production time. €3.40 at a minimum of 15.
View product: Barebells Bar
Clipper Tea €3.62 at 25, from €90.50

Tea solves a problem specific to customer gifting: you do not know whether the recipient drinks alcohol, eats chocolate or is currently avoiding both. Tea survives all three, and it survives a warm warehouse and a slow courier as well. €3.62 flat, minimum 25.
View product: Clipper Tea
Ponte Villoni Prosecco €4.59 at 25, from €114.75

Sparkling wine under five euro is the strongest perceived-value figure in this article, and for a customer gift the gap between what it costs and what it looks like is the whole point. Two constraints, both from the product page: the bottle cannot be branded, so your logo goes on the box or card, and it ships within the EU only. That second one rules it out for UK and US customer lists, which is exactly the kind of thing that surfaces too late.
View product: Ponte Villoni Prosecco
Large Bar Tony's Chocolonely €5.78 at 15, from €86.70

The version to send when the small bar would look thin on its own. Same four-day production, same ethical credentials, roughly twice the presence. €5.78 at a minimum of 15, so an €86.70 order covers a small customer list completely.
View product: Large Bar Tony's Chocolonely
Celebrations Mix Box €6.92 at 15, from €103.80

A mixed box removes the single decision most likely to go wrong in a customer gift, which is picking one flavor for someone whose preferences you have never recorded. €6.92 at a minimum of 15, six business days.
View product: Celebrations Mix Box
Tissue Paper Sticker €6.98 at 15, from €104.70

Not a gift on its own, and included deliberately. When the product itself cannot carry your branding, which is true of the wine, the Tony’s bars and most of the food here, the packaging is where your brand actually appears. Budgeting for the gift and forgetting the wrap is the commonest way a customer gift arrives looking like it came from nobody.
View product: Tissue Paper Sticker
Christmas Tree Hanger €7.48 at 15, from €112.20

The rare customer gift with a chance of being kept and seen again every December. Small, flat, cheap to post, and it carries branding without asking the recipient to display your logo anywhere a visitor would see it. €7.48 at a minimum of 15.
View product: Christmas Tree Hanger
Mini Mikado Game €8.24 at 15, from €123.60

An object rather than a consumable, at a price where a consumable is the default. It sits on a desk instead of being eaten in a week, which changes how long your name stays in the room. €8.24 at a minimum of 15, eight business days.
View product: Mini Mikado Game
Customer gifts from €10 to €20 a piece
The band for named accounts rather than a full list. At these prices you are usually buying for a smaller group, which is why every item here has a minimum of 15 and the orders land between €156 and €237. The common property is that they survive January: none of them is consumed and forgotten in the first week.
Gift | Per piece | Min. qty | Minimum spend | Production |

Christmas Music Box | €10.45 | 15 | €156.75 | 8 days |
Christmas Festive Mug | €11.02 | 15 | €165.30 | 8 days |
Christmas Countdown Calendar | €11.15 | 15 | €167.25 | 8 days |
Baltimore Softcover Notebook | €11.52 | 15 | €172.80 | 8 days |
Acacia Serving Board | €11.55 | 15 | €173.25 | 8 days |
Ceramic Compact Mug | €14.38 | 15 | €215.70 | 13 days |
Christmas Mug | €15.43 | 15 | €231.45 | 7 days |
Large Premium Candle | €15.77 | 15 | €236.55 | 10 days |
Christmas Music Box €10.45 at 15, from €156.75

The item on this list people remember receiving, which is a harder quality to buy than it sounds. It is seasonal rather than branded, so it works for recipients where a logo would be unwelcome. €10.45 at a minimum of 15.
View product: Christmas Music Box
Christmas Festive Mug €11.02 at 15, from €165.30

A mug is the most-used object in most offices and the most over-supplied, so the seasonal version earns its place where a plain branded one would not. €11.02 at a minimum of 15, eight business days.
View product: Christmas Festive Mug
Christmas Countdown Calendar €11.15 at 15, from €167.25

The only gift here with a built-in reason to arrive early, which turns the usual deadline pressure into an advantage. A calendar that reaches a customer on December 1 works. One that reaches them on the 18th is a small embarrassment. Order accordingly.
View product: Christmas Countdown Calendar
Baltimore Softcover Notebook €11.52 at 15, from €172.80

The default professional gift, and default for a reason: it is used, it is carried into meetings, and a logo on a notebook reads as normal in a way a logo on clothing does not. €11.52 at a minimum of 15.
View product: Baltimore Softcover Notebook
Acacia Serving Board €11.55 at 15, from €173.25

A gift that goes home rather than staying on a desk, which widens who it works for. Wood takes engraving cleanly, so the branding can be understated rather than printed. €11.55 at a minimum of 15.
View product: Acacia Serving Board
Ceramic Compact Mug €14.38 at 15, from €215.70

The non-seasonal alternative for customer lists where a Christmas-themed object would feel dated by February. Thirteen business days of production is the longest in this band, so it needs deciding earlier than its price suggests.
View product: Ceramic Compact Mug
Christmas Mug €15.43 at 15, from €231.45

Seven business days, the fastest in this band by a clear margin, which makes it the one to reach for when a customer list has been overlooked until late November. €15.43 at a minimum of 15.
View product: Christmas Mug
Large Premium Candle €15.77 at 15, from €236.55

A candle is the safest premium gift for a list you know little about: no sizing, no dietary restriction, no assumption about whether they drink. It also photographs well, which matters when customers post what they receive. €15.77 at a minimum of 15, ten business days.
View product: Large Premium Candle
Premium customer gifts from €20 a piece
For the handful of relationships that carried the year. The arithmetic changes here: the orders run from €332 to over €1,000, and you are usually buying for ten or twenty names rather than a list. The thing worth knowing is that most of these have minimums of 15, so a premium gift for a small group is more affordable than the per-piece price suggests.
Gift | Per piece | Min. qty | Minimum spend | Production |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Truffles | €21.88 | 50 | €1,094.00 | 23 days |
Full Colour Mug | €22.18 | 15 | €332.70 | 9 days |
Rituals Small Gift Set | €28.62 | 15 | €429.30 | 6 days |
Dopper Insulated · 580 ml | €32.94 | 36 | €1,185.84 | 16 days |
Rituals Medium Gift Set | €44.10 | 15 | €661.50 | 6 days |
Soft Blanket | €57.12 | 15 | €856.80 | 10 days |
Truffles €21.88 at 50, from €1,094.00

The premium food option, and the one with a minimum that catches people out: 50 pieces, so the smallest order is €1,094 even though the per-piece price sits alongside a mug. Twenty-three business days of production puts this firmly in the plan-ahead group. Worth it when the gift is going to a customer list that receives chocolate from everyone and needs one that is noticeably better.
View product: Truffles
Full Colour Mug €22.18 at 15, from €332.70

Full-color printing is what separates this from every other mug on the list, which matters if your brand depends on color rather than a monochrome mark. €22.18 at a minimum of 15, nine business days.
View product: Full Colour Mug
Rituals Small Gift Set €28.62 at 15, from €429.30

A recognized consumer brand is doing the work here. The recipient knows what it retails for, which removes the guesswork that makes unbranded premium gifts land unpredictably. Six business days of production despite the price, among the fastest in this band. €28.62 at a minimum of 15.
View product: Rituals Small Gift Set
Dopper Insulated · 580 ml €32.94 at 36, from €1,185.84

The sustainability gift that is actually used rather than displayed. Minimum 36 pieces, so the smallest order is €1,185.84, which makes this a decision for a defined group rather than an open list. Sixteen business days.
View product: Dopper Insulated · 580 ml
Rituals Medium Gift Set €44.10 at 15, from €661.50

The step up for key accounts, at a minimum of 15 and six business days. The same logic as the small set with more presence, and the short production time means it stays available later into the season than most gifts at this price.
View product: Rituals Medium Gift Set
Soft Blanket €57.12 at 15, from €856.80

The most generous gift here that still fits in a parcel. It goes home rather than staying at a desk, which is usually the point at this value. €57.12 at a minimum of 15, ten business days of production.

Christmas gifts for business partners
A business partner is not a customer, and the gift that works for one often misreads for the other. A customer is someone who buys from you, so the gift can lean towards appreciation. A partner is someone you work alongside, which makes an obviously promotional gift awkward and an impersonal one worse.
Two rules hold reliably. Keep branding to the packaging rather than the product, because a partner displaying your logo is a slightly odd arrangement. And match the value to the relationship rather than to the contract, since partners talk to each other and a visible tier system is harder to explain than it is worth.
The gifts that work best for partners sit in the €10 to €20 band above, where the object is good enough to keep and quiet enough not to look like marketing. The Acacia Serving Board, the Large Premium Candle and the Rituals Small Gift Set all carry their value without carrying your logo across the front. For long-standing partners, the Rituals Medium Gift Set at €44.10 is the step up that does not tip into awkwardness.
Sending Christmas gifts to customers at different addresses
This is the part that breaks customer gifting budgets, and it is almost never in the plan at the start.
An employee gift order goes to one office. A customer gift order goes to as many addresses as you have customers, which means individual packing, individual labels, and shipping charged per destination rather than per order. On a list of fifty, the logistics can cost more than the gifts.
Three things make it manageable.
Decide early whether you are shipping to offices or to homes. Home addresses need collecting, which takes longer than anyone budgets for and has to be done before production finishes, not after.
Check the shipping territory before you choose the gift, not after. Some products cannot cross borders: the Ponte Villoni Prosecco above ships within the EU only, which is a problem you want to discover in October rather than when the UK half of your list is waiting.
Have someone else do the pick and pack. This is what our warehousing and fulfillment service exists for: we hold the stock, assemble each gift, and ship to individual addresses from one order, so you send a spreadsheet rather than a parcel. For any list over about twenty names going to separate destinations, it costs less than doing it in-house once you count the hours.
When to order customer gifts for Christmas
Production time is only half of your deadline. The other half is shipping, and for customer gifts it is the larger half, because the parcels are going to many destinations rather than one.
Work backwards from the date the gift has to be in someone’s hands, not from the date you want production to start. Take the production time from the product page, add shipping for the furthest destination on your list, and add a week for collecting and checking addresses, which always takes longer than expected.
The practical consequence: anything in this article with 20 or more business days of production, which includes the Truffles, the Candy, the Cookies and the Fudge, is an October decision. The four-day and six-day items, the Tony’s bars and the Rituals sets, stay available far later and are what to reach for if the list has been left late.
Full cut-off dates: Christmas swag order deadlines.
Pre-built options: Christmas gift packs.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good Christmas gift for a customer?
Something they can use or consume, with your branding on the packaging rather than across the product. For most customer lists that means the €10 to €20 band: a candle, a notebook, a serving board or a seasonal mug. Avoid branded clothing, which asks a customer to advertise you, and avoid anything that needs sizing or assumes a dietary preference you have not recorded.
How much should you spend on a customer Christmas gift?
There is no published benchmark worth quoting, and the honest answer is that it depends on what the relationship is worth rather than on a rule. In practice most companies land between €10 and €20 a head for a general customer list, and €40 to €60 for the small group of accounts that carried the year. What matters more than the figure is consistency: a visible tier system across customers who talk to each other causes more problems than it solves.
What is the difference between a customer gift and a customer giveaway?
Quantity and intent. A gift goes to a named person you have a relationship with, usually in the €10 to €60 range, at a minimum order of 15 or 25. A giveaway goes to several hundred people you may never meet, at €1 to €3 a piece, with minimum orders in the hundreds or thousands. The giveaway items in this article have minimums from 500 to 1,000 units, so the smallest order runs to four figures even at a euro a piece.
Can I send branded Christmas gifts to customers in other countries?
Usually, but check the product page before you choose. Some items ship within the EU only, including the Ponte Villoni Prosecco in this article, and alcohol in particular has restrictions that vary by destination. For international customer lists, confirm the shipping territory first and pick the gift second.
How late can I order Christmas gifts for customers?
Later than you would think for some items and much earlier than you would think for others. Production times in this article range from four business days for the Tony’s Chocolonely bars to 23 for the Truffles and the Fudge. Add shipping to the furthest address on your list and a week for collecting addresses, then work backwards from the date it has to arrive.
Should customer gifts be branded?
On the packaging, yes. On the product, usually not. A customer wearing or displaying your logo is doing you a favor rather than receiving one, and the gifts that work best outside your own company are the ones where your brand appears on the box, the card or the sleeve. Several items in this article cannot be branded at all, which for a customer gift is often an advantage.
